Add an agent to an empty desk.

Where

Open the sidebar in any office and hit "Hire", or click an empty desk. The hire dialog appears.

Templates

Two sources show up in the picker:

  • Claude — Anthropic's agent templates.
  • Cubicle — built-in profiles tuned for office work.

Or pick Blank and write the role and prompt yourself. Templates only seed the initial fields; everything is editable afterward.

Fields

  • Name — must be unique inside the office. Agents reference each other by name.
  • Role — short title shown on the avatar and in lists. Used in the system prompt.
  • Model — which Claude model the agent runs on. Trade off cost vs. capability per agent.
  • Extra prompt — appended to the system prompt. Use it to set tone, project context, constraints.
  • Color / hair / skin — cosmetic.

Role, model, and extra prompt feed the system prompt, so changing them later triggers a session reset. See Profile editing.

Tip

Start with a Cubicle template, send the agent a message, then iterate on the extra prompt. Faster than writing from scratch.
